In Agri-PV, agricultural land is used for both food production and the generation of renewable energy. Agri-PV opens up numerous possibilities for farmers: The systems can be installed flexibly on different areas and in combination with a wide variety of crops.
In contrast to a ground-mounted photovoltaic system, the area remains classified as agricultural land. This ensures entitlement to 85% of direct payments as well as various tax advantages, such as inheritance tax.
With ENVIRIA's flexible solar concepts, you can choose between purchasing a turnkey PV system or leasing your land to ENVIRIA for the operation of the system. Depending on the model you choose, the dual use of the land results in additional income opportunities in the form of feed-in tariffs or rental income. Using the solar energy generated directly on site can also make a significant contribution to reducing energy and operating costs.
